ECHINACEA Perennial Seeds can be started indoors or can be planted outdoors in the fall. Indoors seeds germinate most readily if first stratified. To stratify seeds keep seed moist and refrigerate for 7-10 days. After seed has been stratified, place seeds in 4 1/2" pots and cover lightly. Germinate at room temperature. After transplanting plants outdoors, space plants 8-12" apart. To plant seeds outdoors, it is best to sow in the fall or early spring in a cold frame.
