HELECHRYSUM                        ( Strawflowers )      Annual       Approximately 45,000 seeds per oz.
Start seeds indoors in March. Use peat pots or flats with inserts and a good soil substitute, like
Berger
BM-2.  Press seeds into soil surface, do not cover seeds, as they need light to germinate. Germinate at
70°-75°F. Transplant in mid summer, 8" apart, in a sunny, dry location. Seeds can also be sown
outdoors in mid summer. Blooms make great dried flower arrangements or can be in fall crafts. Cut
blooms before they are completely open. Hang upside down in a dry, cool location out of direct
sunlight. Use when dry.
