HIBISCUS Perennial Start seeds in January or February indoors. Nick seed coat with knife. Soak seeds in warm water for 24 hours. Place seed 1/4" deep in a 3-4" pot with a good soil substitute like Berger BM-2. Keep soil moist and germinate at 70°F. Transplant outdoors in late spring or early summer. Space plants 12-18" apart the sun.
