MARIGOLDS Annual Approximately 9,000 seeds per oz. Start seeds indoors, 8-11 weeks before transplanting outdoors. Place seeds 1/4" deep, cover lightly. Germinate at 70°-75°F for 3-8 days. After emerge, grow at 50°-60°F. Transplant outdoors in late spring or early summer. Space plants 12" apart. If planted in the garden, it will make a nice showy garden plus may help to control some insects to the boot.
