PEAS, SUGAR OR SNOW PEA Approximately 1,500 seeds per pound.
PLANTING; Plant in early spring as soon as soil can be worked. Young pea plants can tolerate a frost. Work up soil till fine. For
increase in yield, add Bradfield fertilizer at 5 lbs per 100' plus some lime. Coat pea seeds with a pea and bean inoculant. Place
seeds 1" deep, 1.5-2" apart in a row spacing of 30-36". Taller types will need support. Keep weed free for best results. Sugar or
snow peas taste best when picked immature stage when pod is still flat, before seeds develop. Use raw, cooked or can or freeze for
later use.

DWARF WHITE SUGAR
66 days. Thin, flat pods are about 3" long,
sweet, crisp, fiberless, stringless and just
delicious. Short 30" vines. Replacement for
Dwarf Gray Sugar pea. Untreated seed.

DWARF GRAY SUGAR
65 days. Vines are heavily branched and
very productive. Pods hang on clusters at the
top of the vine for earlier picking. 30" vine.
Untreated seeds.

MAMMOTH MELTING SUGAR
70 days. Later and taller type, 48-54" vines
bare 4-5" long, 3/4" wide pods that is fleshy
& of excellent quality free from strings and
fiber. Untreated seeds.

OREGON SUGAR POD
68 days. An early snowpea with a 24-30"
vine that produces a continues yield of
large, broad pods. Untreated seeds.
