TURNIPS                Approximately 10,000 seed per oz.
CULTURE; Sow seeds in early spring for a spring crop or in late summer for a fall crop. Place seeds 1/4" deep, 1-3" apart in a single
row or seeds can also be spread over a large area like you would grass seed. For large turnips, thin to a 4-6" spacing. Use thinned
turnip plants as baby turnips. Tops can be used as turnip greens.  To harvest root, wait until they are 2-4" across. Pull entire plant.
You will need 1/2 oz of seed per 100' row or  2 lbs per acre.            PKT size;  Tokyo Cross F1 about 1/8 oz.  Rest about 1/3 oz.
