| FERTILIZER INJECTOR This injector works automatically from main line pressure with very little pressure loss, 1-3 PSI. By closing gate valve partly on main line of injector, it causes a pressure differential. The 1/4" tube on high pressure side of gatevalve leads through flow meter into top of tank. Fertilizer being heavier than water, is forced out of bottom of tank into the field side of gate valve. Flow rates are adjusted by closing or opening gate valve and reading flow meter. Long flow tubes allows for emptying water from tank before filling. An inexpensive injector that works great. All have female pipe thread except 1015H has garden hose threads, female inlet and male on outlet. Made on order only. Some Definitions
A venturi is a device which creates vacuum
when fluid flows through it. The fluid which
creates the vacuum is known as the motive
fluid. The motive fluid for irrigation injectors is
the irrigation water itself. Vacuum created by
the venturi sucks fertilizer or chemical into the
motive water.
How a Venturi works:
Our Venturi are water driven, ie they are
driven by the pressure of the main irrigation
pipeline. The energy to run these devices
reduces the irrigation water pressure of the
water line.
What to inject with a Venturi:
liquid fertilizers (Nitrogen, Potassium,
Phosphorus, etc...)
pesticide injection,
acid injection, for example to unblock dripper
or distribution orifices
