CULTURE: Prefers cool temperatures. Best grown in early spring or late fall. In finely tilled soil, sow seeds 1/4″ deep, 2-3″ apart in a row or band. Seeds germinate in about 1-2 weeks. After emerge, thin to a 6-8″ spacing.
HARVEST: After several hard freezes, remove roots from ground and cut off tops. Use fresh like turnips or clean, wax and store like potatoes for later use.
